It’s available now but we just purchased a version in August. When is the cut-off date for getting a free upgrade?

When is the cut-off date for getting a free upgrade?

after the official announcement but before ship date. i think you’re out of luck, but it couldn’t hurt to call customer service and plead for mercy. (it might not help, but it couldn’t hurt.)

I guess we are out of luck, we got it on Aug 6th

We knew a new version was in the works and unfortunately, we had to purchase them when we did. Oh well. Not a huge deal on a personal level because it’s the company that payed for them.

It would have been nice to get free copies though.

Probably not, as Adobe prefers to keep this less than public. It prevents people from missing by a day or two from claiming that they also should qualify.

Not exactly. I’m sure that Adobe has given a cut off date to the CSRs. And I would also recommend insisting on speaking to a supervisor (if you can get one) on the grounds that those are the people who might be able to bypass that date by a couple days.
