Hello,

was wondering if it is possible to increase the ‘height’ value higher than the current maximum of 100 pixels [in the Filter>Stylize>Emboss… filter]. This is on Photoshop CS2. I using this multiple times so I wondered if it is possible automatically and not manually.

thanks

You can get the same effect as the emboss filter by duping the image to a new layer setting the new layer’s mode to luminosity and its transparency to 50 percent. Then use the offset filter to get as much height as you want.

Record it as an action so you can use it later.
