In P. C.S.3 (Mac), how can I get selections to snap precisely to the guides?

I have View > Snap checked, and also View > Snap To > Guides checked, and yet the guides and selection rectangles aren’t precisely aligned to the edges of rectangular images and guides.

Let go of the CTRL-key?

Thanks, Alan.

I found the answer: View > Show > Grid!

I wish I had discovered this years ago; it would have saved much time and frustration.

The short-cut for that is Control H (on a PC)…turns the grid on and back off.

It seemed implied that your grid was visible.

" CMD + ‘ " (CMD-apostrophe) is a quick way to turn the grid on and off.

Holding CTRL turns off the snapping until released.
