bar with alpha gradiented to 0%

Hello!

I would like to create a bar 1920px x 100px which has 100% alpha on the left side and 0% alpha on the right side.
I want to fill this bar with blue gradient.

How to do it in Photoshop CS4

Please help me

Yes, thank you. That is what I wanted.

Can you write me how you did so?
I would like to have possibility to change color in the future.
Netm.
create the document size you need
using alpha as the background

choose the colour blue you require

choose the gradient tool
then choose the 2nd gradient option foreground to transparency on teh gradient picker

cliick on teh left hand side hold and drag to right left go if you hold shift you get a perfect straight line
you can of course just use a small portion say the last part to get the gradient. the gradient applies to the length of the dragging

you always have undo if you don;t get right 🙂
