Editing already rasterized layers

Is there a way, to add or change a shape layer that has already been rasterized? I’m not an expert with photoshop, yet, and i want to change a layer i’ve already rasterized, but it just creates a new layer…

You can always ADD a shape layer, but once rasterized you cannot edit it as a vector object – you’re back to traditional raster edtiting techniques.
