CS — Saving tiff to jpeg

When I save tiff files to jpeg and try to open then from my hard drive, they won’t open. I get an "not the right kind of file" message. However, if I click on "open recent" or the file browser, they open. How can I fix this?

May be a dll is corrupted. Download the
"http://www.dependencywalker.com" and check for bad dlls.
