What is the best way to determine how many pixels should be in an image when you resize it for video? When I copy an image to the new canvas size it looks a lot more pixelated. (the original had 180 pixels per inch)I’m using Photoshop 7. The camera is a Canon Powershot S400. I’m converting them to the 720 x 534 std.DV/DVD image size with a little cropping of most images.

David,

When you change the image size, make sure "Resample Image" is NOT checked. Otherwise, PhotoShop will try to add or take away pixels to match the new resolution.
