help i cant open or save a gif

hi. i been using photoshop 7 for a long time now and the other month. something happen and i cant save or open gif files now. and i relaly like making animations. and transparent images.but i cant do that unless i could use gif agian. it doesnt even show up when you go to the save as . there is no save as gif.

Sounds like the gif plugin has gone walkabout. Have you tried installing and reinstalling Photoshop?

no i havent because i have all my plug ins install and i havent save them.

thanks. i was missing the gif plugin. but when i went to my c drive and photoshop i couldnt find the plugin floder and i lost all my plugin. that was the problem oh well i have to install all the plug ins again but i re install photoshop and it works great..thanks
