I realize that the ‘T’ key selects the Type Tool. Does anyone know if there is a way with Photoshop 7.0 to start the edit text mode for the current selected layer via keyboard commands rather than clicking on the layer with the mouse?
The reason that I ask is that I am attempting to insert text via scripting and the PS scripting interface does not deal with non-ANSI type. All of my foreign characters are not making it over. I can copy and past manually, but I have 144 lines of text to copy over for each of 22 languages. I would like to send the Ctrl-A and Ctrl-V keystrokes to PS once I have the text layer opened.
Any ideas?
