Missing Fonts

I recently upgraded my operating system from Win2000 Pro to XP Pro, and reinstalled Photoshop 7.01, educational version. Some psd files, created in
7.01 now say font is missing on system, please substitute…I was using copperplate….nothing too fancy…Where did it go?

You must have installed this font [maybe with some other software] on your old OS before you upgraded. Any other software which you have not installed on the new system?
Don’t think it’s anything to do with PS, as such.

The Copperplate font family is a commercial font that is bundled with some applications. You probably installed it with some other graphics program. I know that Corel, for example, includes the Copperplate fonts.

I notice that I have Copperplate Gothic Bold and Light. There is some Microsoft copyright info. I suspect I got them installed with MS Office or somesuch.

Copperplate is an Elsner+Flake commercial font.

Copperplate Gothic is also available as an adobe font.
