Temp File Recovery – HOW?

my machine crashe out and left a tmp file which is massive but I can’t use it (rename to psd etc) how can I get all that work back. (and no smart alex’s about saving regularly!!!). I assume this is the working file. can it be reused? Does photoshop make a temp save file anywhere?

Yours is a common question and unfortunately the answer is always the same…you can’t recover a Photoshop temp file. Maybe someday Adobe will be able to address that situation.
