In a Welcome Screen that comes with my Photoshop CS there are several links to pdf files called New Features at a Glance, New Features Highlights, and Tips and Tricks from the Experts.

None of them open.

There is also a link called "Working with what’s New" which just opens a thing telling you that you need to go to visit your account on Adobe so you can download a Video Workshop CD on this subject.

I can go and open my account with my pass word and see my record of having registered 7.0 and CS, but I can’t find anywhere that will let me download the tutorial or anywhere that will let me download the pdf files linked to in the Welcome Screen.

Does anyone know where this stuff is?

I assume that if I had gotten a disk in the mail all this stuff would be included. Perhaps the download is not that good an idea if it is incomplete.

Download a CD?

The original CD jewelbox contains 2 CD’s. The hidden one is the workshop CD and it accesses Adobe as I recall, for some additional information.

Well I think it is QuickTime or something.

I am not trying to start a myth or something. I just talked to Adobe and they say that when you visit your order history there should be links associated with a Photoshop CS registration that lets you download things like that.

For some reason it is not working quite right now. I was advised to check it again later. As to the problem launching pdf files from the welcome screen, she seemed to think that there was a problem with launching Acrobat 6 from the welcome screen using XP. She suggested trying version 5 or just finding them online on the Adobe web page for CS. They are the same.

Like always, Adobe lets it’s first paying customers of a new version be their beta testers.
A shame when you consider how much you have to pay for that "privilege"
