When opeing CS it seems to hang for severel seconds at the "reading text globel resources" part. I did just install Adobe Lite ATM. Whould that have something to do with it? This is the only thing I can think of since I noticed this happening. CS opened normally before that.

What version of ATM lite did you install? I sure hope it was 4.1.

But the big question is why did you install it? Are you using multiple master fonts?

Yes it is version 4.1. I read that if you have a lot of fonts (up to 1200 now) on the computer, programs would run better if they didn’t have to load all those fonts each time. Should I just uninstall TM?

What you need is ATM Deluxe 4.1. For that you pay. ATM lite adds nothing to WinXP or Win2K except support for multiple master fonts.

Uninstalling ATM Lite can cause some problems. You’ll need to download the ATM 4.1.2 patch.

CS takes forever to load (hangs up on plug-ins)
Once up, it seems fine, somewhat slower than 7 on some things pentium(R)4CPU 2.53GHz, 1GB RAM
have now taken 7 off system and loaded plug-ins separate folder but same problem Any suggestions?

I installed the 4.1 patch so it OK to uninstall ATM?

IIRC, you need to install the patch AFTER uninstalling ATM. You should visit the ATM / Type forum. No need to post anything there, it’s been discussed quite a bit. Just do a quick search.
