I recently upgraded to Photoshop CS, but the first thing I noticed upon using it is none of my keyboard shortcuts work. NONE. I can’t even press ctrl-home to highlight text. Is there a way to enable the shortcuts? It’s very annoying not having shortcuts.

uninstall the crack and try again. or if you haven’t applied the activation crack, update your keyboard drivers from the manufacturer.

What crack are you referring to here? I have a friend who has the same problem, and he asked me for help. Please more info on crack

In the FAQ section (second from top) there is the question "Ctrl key not working in PSCS". PSCS should be activated. If it has been, then your drivers are bad.

there’s a crack on the internet that allows one to use photoshop cs without having to activate. but it has a bug in it that disables the CRTL key.

as philo says, see the faq.

Shouldn’t there be a sticky thread in the forum with a repost of the "CTRL" FAQ entry? Most users don’t seem to know what a FAQ is, or are not aware that their problem is common enough to be listed in there…

If they did that then they’d have to make a ton of stuff "sticky".

There are quite a few questions that get asked over and over again. At least as much as this one.
