Tool Help Needed – Only Eraser Working

Help!

Regardless of what I select, the only tool available is Eraser. Pen; Paintbrush; etc can be selected but it stays on Eraser.

I’ve rebooted several times; I’ve also reset the Prefs as stated on another post.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to reset my tools?

Aha! After searching the forum, I found the following discussion:

…. and unplugged my Wacom Tablet and all’s well! Whew … I was *seriously* getting frustrated!

is your wacom pen sitting on the tablet while you’re trying to use the mouse?

Are you using the more recent Wacom driver? Mine works well and my tools are all there. (maybe not the hidden ones, but I don’t use them anyway)

Not sure if pen was on tablet; yes, have the more recent driver. Just plugged the tablet back in and all is working well with the tools and the tablet!

I’m so glad to have found this forum. Thanks for your responses.
