Hey!
Something is wrong with my PS -CS , its happend lately.
It’s about a tool CROP
what was before.. it was so easy..
image 1000X900 and 72dpi
after I usewd CROP tool, my picture was
i.e. 900X800 and 72 dpi
a some time ago something went wrong and PS CS makes me upset after I used CROP tool from 1000X900 and 72dpi
my image goes to this
i.e. 900X800 and 103.872 dpi somethimes 54.762 sometimes 298.542 sometimes –whatever..
IT IS never 72 dpi again
DO YOU KNOW WHY?????

did I touch any key by the accident?
under edit>preferences .. I see no chance and possibility to reset such unpleasure change on my images.

and now for few days is even worse..
while I am using CROP tool , it is, I mean PS CS is pushing my selection to the size it likes..
it is like 300 X 200 pixels,
even I made selection od 1000X2000 , or 20X30, does not matter, my PC CS is pushing this selection to the size it likes..

did I push another wrong button???

I got very sick of it, and made rid of it this morning, I deleted PS CS few hours ago
later reinstaled it, but this ugly feture is still there.

Do you know how to resolve this bug?

When you select the crop tool you will see some tools appear across the top tool bar which are specific to the crop tool – one of these is an icon of the crop tool – with a little drop down arrow next to it – clicking on that should give you all the preset measurements (you can set your own measurements and save them, by the way) and to the right of that icon are two further windows which should indicate the current default setting (or if blank – there is no current setting and the tool works freehand) and to the right of this is the resolution settings!!!
I’m sure all this is in the help files – so forgive me if I am stating the obvious!!

For future reference, when Photoshop acts wacky delete the preferences file instead of reinstalling. Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) immediately after launching Photoshop or ImageReady. You will be prompted to delete the current settings.

When you only reinstall it will use the same old preference file and not fix the problem.
