I just download a free web template from webtemplates.ws and it has a psd graphic file of hte wholw page but then also has individual images that you can edit. But I can not seem to figure out how to edit any of the images to change the logo name, company name, button name etc. The file are .jpg. So… how to I do this?

You can’t edit the type in jpegs. You have to make your own. Maybe the psd has editable type in it?

I know that. but it does not have any images to edit except for the .psd of the whole page. Maybe what they did is sliced and exported images out. How would you do this in Photoshop CS.

Save for Web and ImageReady both allow exporting slices as files.
