Are tere ways to speed up CS2 start up. many of the functions it has I
don't use eg text

Just put CS2 in your Startup group, and set the window type to
'minimized'. It will load automatically every time you boot your
system, and switching to it will be pretty much instantaneous.

I do wish Adobe would add a NoSplashScreen option, and find
other ways to improve CS's load time.

If you have an abundance of fonts you don't use, delete them and PS
won't have to look at all that during start up.
