Cannot get the rubber stamp to work.
Highlight the button, but hitting the
Alt ket to grab part of an image has no
effect. I saw a website that said spyware
infections may disable some key functions
in Photoshop, but I have scraped everything
clean and still no effect from the Alt key.

What gives?

What gives?

Spyware is possible but would be low on my list of possibilities. The most common reason for this is the wrong mode being selected. Be sure it is set to "Normal" and not something else.
