These are my attempts of black & white portraits- please tell me what you think about colour and lighting!
The second is my sibirian dwarf hamster doing his pose 🙂 can’t believe i got that shot- quick little ! We do look quite alike- with the fuzzy hair and all 😉

The portrait is great.
The hamster is adorable, but too much noise graininess, and not enough contrast, dull.

sr, have a look at this tutorial from one of our regulars… it’ll help with the midtone contrasting.
