Eyedropper has gotten reversed or something

I know that if you ALT+Click a color with the eyedropper it will load the selected color into the background but whenever I just click a color now it sends the color to the background instead of the foreground and when I ALT+Click it loads the color in the foreground. This isn’t a huge problem as much as it is annoying. Any help would be appreciated.

Oh…. It’s PhotoShop CS2 in Windows
Open your Color palette (Window>Color) and change the swatches by clicking on the upper left swatch to make it the foreground.
