i first posted this to the illustrator newsgroup and got no response, so i’ll ask here, as i know there are a bunch of you very knowledgeable in Illustrator
I’m new to Illustrator 9, been on Illustrator 7 forever.
If I have an Illustrator 9 graphic with several layers, must i flatten it before i save as EPS for InDesign or Quark?
I’ve experimented with merely saving it as EPS, not flattening image, and it seems fine. However, will that throw off my printers imagesetter?
I also experimented with Flattening and then saving as EPS, and my inkjet printer here, wouldnt print the file. What did i do wrong?
