Hi,
I have downloaded a web page template that has some writing on it where showing you were to place your site name. The problem is, how do I remove the text that exists to replace it with my text???Thanks

What format is the web template in? HTML? PSD? SWF?
I will need to know this before I can help you.

The entire "template" is a GIF? Something is wrong. A template usually refers to something already laid out to be easily editable.

Ok, the main text in the middle you can use any standard web page editor like dreamweaver or GoLive. The Company Name and the other stuff will be more problematic since they are gifs. you could create something to take there place with Photoshop.

If on the other hand that seems like more than you want to do. Look for templates that tell you they are PSD or html formatted. There are a bunch of them out there on the web for free. Or if you just want the templates and be done with it you can get a boat load of them on eBay for a nominal feeless than 10 bucks. Just understand that they don’t come with instructions and them people who are selling then don’t know how either.

Hi,
Thanks to everyone for your input, I am very grateful. I have found another template at the same site, which has editable text on the graphics. So I will be able to overcome the original problem. Once again thank for all your help.
