I’m trying to decide between that and the Spyder 2 Pro for use with a Dell 2005 fpw.

I use an Eye One Display 2 with my Dell 1707FP. No problems. I’ve heard good things about the Spyder 2 Pro as well.

Hi.

I don’t know your machine, but Spyder 2 Pro, does state that it cannot profile 2 Monitors on a dual head Card in a Windows system. It needs 2 Cards in Windows.

It can in a Mac system, so the problem may lie in Windows, rather than in the Spyder.

I am using the Eye One Display 2 on my LCD monitor. I previuosly had a Monaco Optix and the Eye One is better. The Spyder should be good as well. Eye One has educational pricing if you are a student or a teacher.

I use the eye one 2 with a dual monitor setup (eizo and la cie) and a Matrox Parhelia APVe dual head graphics card on Win XP. I use the microsoft win color tool to load the profiles. This works perfectly well for me.

I’m also very pleased with the Eye One 2. It replaced a Monaco Optix and is much better.
