Making Square corners Round?????

This should be an easy one for some. I am stuck on a couple butttons. I have attached one of them below. I made them rectangle with squared corners and I need to round the corners while still keeping the rectangle. Which tool will accomplish this?

crtl click the background layer. add a layer mask (click the icon at the bottom of the layers palette. add some light gaus. blur. tighten or loosen with the adjustment> levels.

you might have been better off starting with the rounded rectangle tool. it’s under custom shapes.
