Hi everyone,
What is the best tool for creating graphics on your website, like buttons and icons from scratch? I like using a grid and going pixel by pixel to get that macintosh "icon" look.

Anybody have any ideas?

I just used Adobe Illustrator and it came out looking not so nice.
