Try posting to alt.binaries.comp-graphics. They’re helpful and courteous. It’s a fun Newsgroup and they have two "challenges" every week where you manipulate an image (sometimes more than one) or create one from scratch to match a theme.

When you look at the title of a news group (NG), the hierarchy will give you some idea as to what the NG is about, i.e. alt.graphics.photoshop, alt. binaries.graphics. As is the case with this one, the word "binaries" does not appear. This is an indication that it is a "discussion" NG, and not a binary NG. When you see a binaries NG with the letter "d" in the hierarchy, that is the discussion version of the binary NG.

Hope that this helps.

One way to get the response that you want from a non-binary, discussion NG, is to post the image to a Web site, and place the URL into your text, non-binary, post.
