Situation: When trying to scan a transparency on a Nikon 8000ED film scanner at 14 bit mode via Import on Photoshop CS I receive the following error messags after closing the Nikon Scan 3.1 software; "DDE Server Window: Photoshop.exe Application Error. The instruction at "0x2de8dd35" referenced memory at "0x2dfa3e3c" could not be read. Click on OK to terminate the program". Each attempt to scan at 14 bit mode brings this message but with a different set of reference numbers in the body of the error message. Running on PC with windows XP Home. Intel P4 2.8gh and 3 gig of RAM. Any help from a knowledgeable individual will be appreciated.
