Hi,

I have CS running on XP Pro SP1, I am editing files on a network drive on a Windows 2000 SBS server SP3. After editing a file I cannot move or copy the file from any pc on the network even if I close CS, my pc needs to be rebooted to release the file and allow it to be copied.
I know this may be a general network problem but when I edit documents in any office app they copy or move fine.

Thanks

Lech

Copy the file to your local drive. Open it, work on it, save it.

Then copy it back. NEVER work on files across a network drive. It’s a recipe for file corruption.
