JPEG’s don’t open in PS7 when I double click

Apologies. I realise that this is covered in the FAQ but it really does bug me. Whilst I’m no techi, I thought I’d remove the HKEY thingy as mentioned (I can always do a system restore if it all goes pear shaped – can’t I?), trouble is, I can’t find it to delete it – can anybody point a non-techi in the right direction.

From the Start menu RUN command, type Regedit and hit [enter]

Expand the first folder ( HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT ) in the LH regedit window and scroll down past all the .xxx entries until you come to Applications. Expand that sub-folder and scroll down until you come to Photoshop.exe
