how do i go about adding new fonts to photoshop 7. i have downloaded new fonts but i dont know what to do with the files, can anyone help me please. ty.

You don’t add fonts to Photoshop – you add fonts to your system.

Follow the directions for adding fonts to your particular OS.

And in most recent versions of windows, this is handled in the Control panel item called Fonts.

A warning: keep a list of fonts you load, and when. Many shareware fonts are defective, and Photoshop is finicky about bad fonts. Knowing which fonts went in before the program starts acting up will make it much easier to know which ones to remove to cure the problem.
