Ok, I had originally posted this in the wrong forum so I just figured i’d post it again here so that I could get some more help on the subject. Recently, ever since I reformated my computer and reinstalled Photoshop CS, I have not been able to get a correct look from my spatter filter. I used to use this filter all the time but I am now unable to due to the fact that it doesn’t look the same anymore. The old look of my spatter filter was wild and randomized. It looked alot more distorted than it does now. The new one looks alot more symetrical and less random and wild looking. Perhaps someone can tell me how to get it back to the way that it used to look. I’ve already tried messing around with the sliders for Spray Radius and Smoothness, they don’t change the filter to how I want it. I’ve also tried deleting prefs and that worked for ONE time then when I restarted Photoshop it didn’t work any longer. I’ll attach a link of an image of what it used to look like and what it looks like now.

The image on the top is what it used to look like just using a single spatter filter once and the image on bottom is what it looks like now using a single spatter filter once. As you can see, the one on top looks alot more randomized while the one on the bottom looks alot more symetrical.
Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Coleman
