Dear all,

I have a layer with a layer mask. When I resize the content of the layer, the mask will resize follow with the content and work fine. After I duplicate the layer to another psd, I want to do the same resize with the new copy layer. But the mask’s resize seems not following the content and the result loook strange. Is there any reason and how can I solve it? Thanks!

Regards,
Henry

The mask needs to be linked tot the layer content. Is there a little link icon between them in the palette? Click in the space between the mask and the layer.

Dear,

Thanks for your reply, but It seems the mask is linked to the content and the mask’s resize seems not following the content. Noted that the orginal layer work fine. Only the copied one have problem…

PS: If I duplicate the layer to the document itself, it works fine.

Henry

Hmm. Doesn’t do that here in CS. What version?
