Default opening

I am using Photoshop 7.01, is there a way to default to open at a particular drive and folder? I am on a network and I used to be able to open at a particular place, for some reason this has now changed and now defaults to the same place each time I open, which is not where I want, no matter where I last openned from.

Normally, PS will open files looking at the folder you last opened to or saved from. If this is not the case, your network guys have "improved" things for you, perhaps by making the preferences file (where that info is stored) delete every time you use the program.
