How do I resize an object selected?

I recently took a photo of a dragonfly. I used a macro setting with my camera and selected the dragonfly only and may a layer via a cut in Photoshop. I then moved this into another photo with a better background but the dragonfly appears a little too large compared with the other objects (flowers). Is there any easy way to resize the dragonfly?

Hi Martin ; To add to what was already suggested …the full set of steps would be Edit > Transform > Scale. To make sure it stays in proportion, use the corner tabs to pull it smaller.

To make sure it stays in proportion, use the corner tabs to pull it size – I always push the shift key down befor pulling to size.
