Hi,

I’ve taken a photo of a hand in a white glove. I’ve cut it from the background, but I’d like to add a black outline around it so it can stand out a little. So basically, a thin black line around all of the white glove to show it’s presence better. How do I do that? I tried going to Filter -> Stylize -> Find Edges , but I don’t know what to do afterwards.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Many thanks,
Yash

Set foreground color to black.
Make a selection of your glove (get the ants marching around the edge). Then go to "stroke" and set "outside" and the width of the black line that you want in number of pixels.
That should do it.
