hi,

I’d like to play a DVD on my new Win XP computer (a DVD that I made on the MAC, a film that I produced), and do a screen grab and then paste into Pshop.
When I do that w/the print screen button,i don’t get a frame or image from the film, but instead just the DVD player frame. I want to get a grab at the content so I can work with some images in Photoshop. Any suggestions??

If you are watching the DVD with WinDVD the application have a screen shot function, that copies the current frame to the clip board. Some other DVD players for Windows have similar functions, but I don’t think Windows Media Player has one.

PowerDVD and Nero ShowTime also have this function!
I think, all of them… Just have a look…

If you are watching the DVD with WinDVD the application have a screen shot function, that copies the current frame to the clip board. Some other DVD players for Windows have similar functions, but I don’t
think
Windows Media Player has one.

What I did was to stop Media Player on the screen shot I wanted, then I pressed Alt + Print screen, then pasted to PS.

thank you!, I’ve now found this feature on PowerDVD and have captured about 15 frames already!
I found that I had to exit and re-enter Pshop each time though. thanks,
