Sorry for this…I’d look it up in the help file, but I don’t know what terms to seach on 🙂

I’m working with an image and I must have done something to it unwittingly. Near the center of the image there is a little circle with four line segments coming out of it, sort of like a compass thingy, and a little number "1" down and to the right of it. It’s not part of the image per se, because it doesn’t get any bigger if I zoom in on it.

What is this, how did I do it, and how do I get rid of it?

Thanks,

Ernie

It sounds like you set a color sampler. You can hide it by unclicking Extras (under View) or get rid of it completely by using the sampler tool (under eyedropper) and dragging it out of the image area.

It’s a Color Sampler. Easiest way is to click on the Eyedropper tool to get the Color Sampler tool (you probably already have it on) and click the Clear button in the Options Bar up top.

And now you know to search on "Color Sampler".
