Running Windows XP. Just installed Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 (1) When selecting a photo to work on, the photo appears in the adobe window too dark, several stops darker than the original. How do I make the photo appear as it does in the original? (2) Then when printing the same photo, it prints too light, several stops lighter than the original. How do I make the photo appear as it did in the original? (3) The Adobe window that appears for working in is larger than the monitor by inches, thus having to continually scroll to use various tools. How do I reduce the size of the Adobe window to relate normally to the size of the monitor? I am assuming there is a setup or options section that needs to be addressed before I can use the program properly, but don’t know how to do it. I have had this program for just a few days and am frustrated by the above-numbered problems and I am completely ignorant about how to fix them. Thank you for any tips as to how to properly get going on this program. GG

The Elements forum is two doors the hall on the left. You’ll get more attention there.

Dear Bob,
You are funny. However, it took me an hour just to get a message up in this location. Furthermore, I am not sure what day it is. I shall try to move it in a day or two and start a new game. GG
