Hi
I used to have an external HD in which I put everything, well the HD is dead and Adobe was there.
The case is that I can’t download a fresh copy b/c it says that the program already exist, and cannot deleted b/c the location is invalidF (dead hd).I have tried going to registry and delete it from there but the only thing I see with a similar name is ADODB.What can I do? Thanks

Sonia,

I’m very surprised you can get any program to run properly on an external drive as they tend to be orders of magnitude slower in read/write ops than internals. The only use for thme tends to be backup/storage devices. Was PS a trial version? If so it will have written hidden iformation to the boot sector of your C drive when installed. This info prevents multiple reinstallation of the trial version. The only way to reinstall the trial would involve a low level format of your C drive.
If it isn’t a trial version, where are your PS CD’s?

In this ng references to Adobe is assumed to mean Photoshop, not Reader! Why are you asking this question in this ng?

So, following your logic, If I have a problem with say, Excel, I can seek a solution in a Word NG, because afterall it’s all Microsoft?
