Photoshop 7 installation problems!

Hi, I downloaded Photoshop 7 but when I click on the setup icon to install it, it won’t do anything until I try to shut the computer down, and then it tries to install it but I can’t stop the computer from shutting down. And I got it from the internet so I don’t have a CD rom I could use. Can someone help me? I use Windows XP. Thanks!

Got rid of what? The link where you downloaded the application?

So does that mean it wasn’t from Adobe, or an authorized merchant for their software?

Or what?

Actually a friend of mine sent me a link for a free trial, and I deleted it by accident.

Even if you did manage to find a link to download PS7 it would be a pretty pointless excersise. This version cannot be bought any more.

You can, however, download the current trial version from the link Klaas has provided. By the time the 30 day trial is up CS3’s release date will have been been officially announced, so you’ll have the opportunity of purchasing that instead.
