I have been working on some banner/headers for my website and I would really appreciate it if anyone could point me toward a tutorial or teach me how to do this: <http://billsbluebullies.net/images/main/links/linkshdr.jpg> .

I have the fire but i don’t know how to make the edges fade out like it does in that, here is what i got so far: <http://www.shortdoggkennels.com/Untitled-2.psd>

Bah…that first image looks like striated lava vomit. (Your .psd link doesn’t work).

Get your fire thingy going, then we’ll look into masking off a fade-to-background.
