Does CS3 have the ability to do the "Ken Burns Effect"?

I have been using the iMovie version but it is a bit limited.

Since all the Ken Burns Effect is, is panning the camera accross still images, no, PS can’t do that since it does static images.

iMovie, Premiere, After Effects or any other film/video manipulation software are needed to do what you want.

Does After Effects have more control than iMovie? It seems in all iMovie its more of an all-or-nothing move. No stopping for a bit or shanging directions.

Whereas I always like to stop for a bit. It reduces accidents that can occur when having a bit while moving. 🙂

Chris: Download a trial version of Premiere Elements, it works better than iMovie and may provide what you are looking for. It costs a lot less than Premiere and could do what you want. I’ve been using PE for basic video comps but haven’t tried the ‘Ken Burns’ effect, but have been using green screen effects with video I shoot, does a great job.

PS can’t do that since it does static images.

Ah, but PSCS3 has a timeline. But really, it’s probably better to use a video editing app.

Don’t have CS3 (yet) I assumed it was for GIF animations (which barely count if you ask me)
