Yes of course. It’s just the "found a bug" approach doesn’t always inspire people to respond.

Best way is to clearly describe the problem and the steps leading to it happening. Add your system specs too. That way some of us who haven’t had the problem might be tempted into trying to make it happen and/or suggest where your approach or setup might be flawed. If something really is a bug, you can bet it will get discussed to death in no time.

Okay. Back to the issue in hand. As a first step in the troubleshooting process – did you try resetting the Preferences? (See the FAQs) A corrupt Prefs can cause all sorts of "odd behaviour".
