save for web not working

Hi,

For some reason save for web in PhotoshopCS won’t show gif or png, only jpg. It worked fine yesterday, but i think when i selected jpg for output it stuck as jpg. So when i select gif, it shows all the gif settings but when i go to save is shows jpg as extension choice. It will still save the file as filename.gif if i type it in the dialogue box, but i am stumped as to why it only shows jpg for saving the file. Any thoughts out there?

You could try deleting the Save for Web Preferences. In C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Adobe>Save for Web…With Photoshop closed delete the file. When you restart the program the file should rebuild.
