No matter what I do, I cannot change the icon for jpg’s or gif ‘s. It simply will not change. How can I delete or change the adobe photoshop icons?
Thanks

I assume those files open with Photoshop. Change the file association.

Thanks, but I have already done that.

If you can’t get any of the normal methods to work, there are some shareware icon handlers that can probably get the job done. I used to use one called E-Icons that let me change any icon for a folder or file to any other icon on my system.

I am using Icon Packager. This makes no sense at all.

When I uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop no where does it give me the option to dis-associate the program with any files. I have to associate jpeg’s and gif’s with Image ready or Photoshop.

You are right, it’s a bit of bad design in the installer.
