I have run into a problem while trying to load Photoshop CS3 from the CS3 suite. The specs of the machine I am using are as follows:
1. Dell Latitude D620 Laptop
2. 512 MB of Ram
3. 40GB Hard Drive
4. Windows XP SP 2
5. No external devices attached.
Photoshop CS3 runs fine when I log in with administrative privelages. When I attempt to use it with the standard user account it does not load at all and gives the following message and then closes:
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Photoshop.exe
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application’s support team for more information.
Visual studio is not installed on this machine and other than the lack of ram causing it to run slowly it seems to work fine. I have read several posts on peripheral devices causing problems but this laptop has nothing attached to it or installed for a peripheral device to use. Can anyone point me in the right direction to solve this issue? Thanks
