Whenever I load Bridge 2.1, Vista pops up with an message, reverts to Basic and loses all Aero effects. This didn’t happen before the Bridge upgrade.
Any ideas?
BTW, I tried posting in the Bridge forum first, but got no replies.

I’m running Bridge 2.1 and Aero without problems. What message do you get? —

Comes up with the ‘Color Scheme has been changed.
The following program has performed an action that requires Windows to temporarily change the color scheme to Windows Vista Basic.
Program: Adobe Systems
Publisher: Adobe Systems Inc.
Process Identifier (PID): 3564.
Windows will automatically change the color scheme back ……’ This happened in the beta release of CS3, but was fixed in the release. But now after the 2.1 update (for me anyway) the problem is back.
Any ideas?

Thanks but I already stated in the OP that I had tried that! BTW, I spoke to Adobe support on this and they said ‘tough, you’ll have to live with it’!!!

The Microsoft help page at http://tinyurl.com/2f74ax isn’t very specific, but have you tried starting bridge as the only application running? You may not have enough CPU or graphics resources available.

Thanks Charlie, but that isn’t the problem. I’ve got loads of CPU graphics and system RAM available, and yes I have tried starting it as the only app running. It used to work OK until the recent(ish) update to Bridge. It’s the only app that I have a problem with.

Looks like someone reported a similar problem here:

Thanks Charlie. As I said from the outset, it was a common problem with CS3 beta on Vista. It went away on release but now it’s back. Very very annoying indeed!!!
