CS2 question. In earlier versions like CS and 7 you were able to hover your arrow over a layer, on your layer palette, hit your control button and Click. It allowed you to select the contents on that layer. Is there another way of doing that?

CS1 answer: Right-click? Is Auto Select Layer checked on the Options Bar with the Move tool?

Ed,

this is what I was referring to…

"I hold ctrl over a layer in the palette the cursor turns into a pointing hand with a small rectangular marquee icon in the lower right. If I click a layer it selects all content within the layer."

This was an option in PS7 and CS. Is this option gone in the CS2 version?

CTRL+CLICK on the THUMBNAIL of the layer, not the layer itself

Len,

Thanks you very much! That is what I was looking for.

Oh, I see. I thought he was asking about being taken to the layer under the cursor.
