Photoshop7 initializing error

recently my copy of Photoshop7 has been running across errors during initializing. It seems it is unable to access Hardware.ini. What bothers me the most is that I am running Win’98 and have had no previous problems with Photoshop7. nothing has been updated, changed, or added. This problem seems to have apeared out of nowhere.

First, what makes you think that there is an issue with Hardware.ini? Are you receiving a message?

That notwithstanding, try resetting photoshop preferences per the procedure in the faq.
